Pediatric Healthcare Seminar
Pediatrics is one of the oldest specialties within Chinese medicine and dates from the early first millennium. Seminar participants will learn valuable pediatric diagnosis and treatment skills, with an emphasis on disorders common to children in underdeveloped regions.

Topics, which will introduce attendees to both Eastern and Western points of view, will include discussions related to how various TCM modalities (herbal medicine, acupuncture, Chinese pediatric massage and dietary therapy) may be used to treat common pediatric complaints such as colds, coughs, allergies, asthma, digestive complaints, vomiting, diarrhea, as well as febrile diseases, malnutrition and special learning disabilities.
