Bali Aga Outreach
The GAHP team converted the schoolhouse into a three-room clinic using desks as treatment tables. Lines of villagers registering for treatment soon formed. For many of them it would be their first interface with a healthcare practitioner of any kind. Nearly 300 patients were treated that day, ranging in age from newborns to frail elders, and with complaints that were incredibly varied.
The team ended their day with a quick hike down the mountain in the failing sunlight and thick fog, tired but satisfied at the impact made in just a single day.
