Some infants presented with signs of malnutrition. When treating children with special needs for which Tui Na or other corrective soft-tissue modalities are effective, the practitioner first demonstrated the effectiveness of simple massage techniques and then taught family members how to perform the massage techniques themselves at home.

Adults (Open Clinic):
Adult patients were treated for a wide variety of complaints ranging from fatigue, aches and pains, and hypertension to complex cases of scoliosis, goiter, hepatitis, diabetes, and acute traumatic injuries (fractured bones, dog bites!) and even Typhoid Fever.
