Pilot Field Trip to Bali, Indonesia: December 2007
One of the key goals of the GAHP pilot field trip to Bali was to directly deliver free healthcare to remote communities in need. Chinese medicine and other alternative healthcare modalities are uniquely qualified for this work: they are highly mobile, very cost effective and rely on direct practitioner-to-patient contact. Furthermore, treatments generally do not require great amounts of equipment, electricity or auxiliary lab work.
