East Bali Poverty Project
The East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP) is a non-profit organization founded by David Booth, a British resident of Bali. It is located in one of the most impoverished regions of Bali, high on the steep and arid slopes of Mount Agung, Bali's largest volcanic mountain. Here, subsistence living is made even more challenging by the rugged volcanic terrain and severe drought conditions that affect the north-eastern regions of the island during its dry season.

During the Bali pilot field trip, the GAHP team was invited by EBPP to the mountain community of Desa Ban to treat young children with developmental challenges over a one-week period, and concurrently to treat adult villagers.
